Merry and Bright, singing to us for almost three hours, was simply the best! Having lived in SF for most of my life, it was truly a bittersweet ending to the stick. Witnessing many games, from the early 70s to the present, as a baseball and football fan, was memorable. It was a bittersweet ending to the stick, closing Candlestick with Merry and Bright. I'll never forget 8/14/14, the night where I was joined by my parents, my cousin, my brother, my lady, and my daughter. All of us loved the show. I remember my first job as a teenager, being a vendor - sold malts, hot dogs, sodas, etc. Beating the Cubs to get to the World Series in '89, to "the catch" Montana to Clark was most memorable, of course, beating the Dodgers! I also remember seeing the Stones "Start Me Up" tour, when George Thorogood and J Geils opened for them, but nothing compared to the other night. He can put on a show and hold all 50,000 of us from the beginning to the end.
